Little Village Voices

Would you like to do an activity for YOU where your baby/toddler is also welcome?

Would you like to meet other local parents?

Are you struggling with the demands of being a parent?

Then come and join our friendly and supportive singing group for parents!

You don’t need to have any singing experience or talent - it is all about getting together and doing something fun and healthy for you and your little one(s). We start with a gentle physical warm-up and breathing exercises before learning a wide range of songs. And we take requests, so if there is a particular song you love or that you’d like to learn we can do it.

WHEN: Thursdays in term-time 11:00am-12:00noon and running weekly.

WHERE: St Mark’s Church, 53 Rowfant Road, Balham, SW17 7AP

HOW MUCH: Free but donations are always welcome!

I think singing groups work on so many levels for parents who might be feeling low or socially isolated, or even those potentially suffering from PND...The act of collective singing has been proven to have positive neurological benefits which may lift mood (dopamine) and improve bonding (oxytocin).
